With over a decade of experience as a mortgage default attorney, Genail represents mortgage lenders, investors, trustees and other industry participants in the areas of default servicing litigation, compliance and title dispute resolution. She also has experience assisting commercial clients with real property acquisition, land use and zoning issues and has prior experience as a real property appraiser.
Genail graduated Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where she was a member of law review and received her Juris Doctor in 2004. She served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Houston of the United States District Court – Southern District in 2002. She earned her BA in business administration with a finance concentration in 1999 from California State University, San Bernardino.
She is a frequent speaker on issues related to litigation, compliance, foreclosure and the mortgage banking industry, including speaking engagements for Five Star – Legal League 100, Mortgage Banker’s Association, ACI, USFN and the United Trustee’s Association. She is a member of the California Bar Association and the United Trustees Association.
Genail is admitted to practice before all courts in the state of California, including all Districts of the United States District Courts of California.
